Amazing seafood restaurant in Madrid. We ordered the artichokes with clams, the "lenguado Evaristo", the "chipirones en su tinta", and the "filloas" for desert. Note that the restaurant is on the pricier end, we were 3 and the total summed up to just above 110€ (incl. wine). That said, everything was very tasty, and the service was great.
Highly recommended!
We were here for an early dinner on New Year's Eve. Once seated, the service was very good and the waitresses gentle and knowledgeable. The food was excellent but I felt the price was a bit excessive. Although I must admit that carabineros were excellent, a price tag of 22 euros each was quite high and the size of the 31 euros portion of clams was very small. For a special occasion, I would certainly consider again.
Get the carabineros, and you won't regret it.
The cigalas were good, but it was also 152 Euros for only 6 of them. It wasn't worth it. I would've ordered just carabineros and would've been happy.
I also had percebes and clams. We finished off with the torta de Santaigo, which was amazing. It was so good that it inspired me to make some when I got home!
It was 316 Euros for 3 people for all this plus a 40 Euro bottle of wine. I should've just gotten 3 carabineros. I would've been full & happy, and would've spent less than 70 euros for food.
